Frequently asked questions
Spokane house cleaning, answered.
The questions Spokane homeowners ask before booking. If yours isn't here, the phone is (509) 323-7587 and we answer it ourselves.
Booking & scheduling
Booking, scheduling, and your crew.
How do I book a cleaning?
Three options: fill out the estimate form, call (509) 323-7587, or email [email protected]. We reply with a written estimate within a business day, and we always recommend a free in-home consultation so your quote fits the way you actually live.
How far in advance should I schedule?
First-time cleanings typically schedule within 5 business days for recurring routes. Move-in/out and one-time deep cleans can usually fit in a 48-hour window. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility on day-and-time.
Can I have the same cleaner each time?
Yes. That's the default. We assign each customer a primary 2-person team and keep them with you for as long as they're with us. If your team is unavailable for a visit, we name the substitute crew in advance.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
24 hours notice and there's no fee. Inside 24 hours we ask for the visit's value to cover the crew's wages (they were already on the schedule). We almost never invoke this. Emergencies happen.
Services
What's included, what isn't.
What's the difference between a recurring clean and a deep clean?
A recurring clean covers the surfaces and rooms you use weekly. A deep clean adds the spots that aren't on the weekly route: inside the oven, inside the fridge, baseboards, ceiling fans, vent covers, and the corners that build up over months. See the deep clean page for the full checklist.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes. Microfiber cloths, vacuums with HEPA filtration, mops, ladders, and our standard cleaning solutions are all included. If you prefer specific products (fragrance-free, pet-safe, or eco-certified) tell us in the estimate and we'll match.
Do you do laundry, dishes, or linens?
Linens and beds are included in standard recurring service. Dishes and laundry are available as an add-on, which we fold into your written estimate so the scope is clear up front. We don't want to skip a bathroom because the dishwasher took 20 minutes.
Can you handle move-in and move-out cleans?
Yes, move-in/out cleaning is one of our largest service categories. We coordinate around closing or lease dates and the guarantee is written specifically with landlord walk-throughs in mind.
Do you clean offices and commercial spaces?
Yes, commercial cleaning is a separate service line, after-hours by default. Offices, clinics, retail spaces, and post-construction handovers.
Pricing
How pricing actually works.
How much does house cleaning cost in Spokane?
It depends on your home, and that is on purpose. Every home and lifestyle is different: some have pets, some need extra attention in certain rooms, some have spaces they want left alone, and frequency varies from weekly to one-time. Rather than post a price that would not fit you, we build an honest estimate around your home and your budget. Send the estimate form and we reply in writing within a business day. We also always recommend a free in-home consultation so we can tailor the quote to the way you actually live. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured every visit, with all equipment and supplies included. See the pricing page for how this works.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
By the job, not the hour. Hourly billing creates the wrong incentive (slow down to bill more). Your estimate covers a defined scope of work for your home, and our crew finishes when the work is done.
Do you require a contract?
No. We don't use contracts. You can pause, change frequency, or stop service entirely with 24 hours notice. The only commitment we ask is for you to tell us before a visit if you're not happy with the previous one.
How and when do I pay?
We invoice after each visit; payment is due within 7 days. Recurring customers can opt into auto-pay (credit card or ACH on file). One-time cleanings are typically paid same-day.
Trust & safety
The trust questions worth asking.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. Washington State business license (UBI on file), full general liability insurance with a Spokane-based carrier, and a fidelity bond on every employee. Proof of all three is available before your first visit on request.
Do you do background checks on employees?
Every employee passes a national criminal background check before their first customer visit. We re-run checks every two years.
How long has Frontline been in business?
Since 2002: 23+ years of continuous Spokane operation, same family ownership the whole time. See the about page for the timeline.
What's your guarantee?
100% satisfaction. If anything in the clean isn't right, call within 48 hours and we're back at no charge. Full guarantee policy is published in plain language.
Are you a franchise?
No. Frontline Housekeeping Plus is a single-location, owner-operated, Spokane-headquartered company. No national chain ownership, no royalty payments, no franchise scripts.
